Barista

The most unique coffee shop in town has a rare opportunity for an experienced Barista to join our small team!

THE JOB:
Work in the heart of downtown, at one of Asheville‘s busiest and well-known coffee spots. Free parking provided. Approximately 20 to 30 hours per week. Flexibility is important, must be available to work evening and weekend shifts.
Duties include preparing gourmet beverages including espresso drinks, frappes, and smoothies. Cleaning and stocking, customer service, cash handling, opening and closing responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS:
At least one year of barista experience, preferably in a busy high-volume environment.

MUST be available for evening shifts (we close between 7:00 - 9:00 pm depending on the day and season) and weekend shifts.

Need to be comfortable working in a VERY small, yet fun environment. Looking for someone that’s reliable, neat, efficient, conscientious, honest, and personable.

PAY:

$12/hr for training (1-3 months)

$13/hr after training is complete
