Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing personalized recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring all items meet quality standards
• Uphold food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to manage time effectively in a busy environment through solid time management skills
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Experience with serving, food preparation, and cashiering is advantageous
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
