Barista

• Most important: Provide excellent customer service at all times

• Greet customers as they enter the cafe

• Be knowledgeable about products and answer customer questions in a courteous way

• Take orders and pay attention to order details

• Properly enter orders into a register while maintaining a cash drawer

• In a timely manner, prepare beverages and other items, such as bakery and ice cream, according to provided instructions

• Complete necessary tasks by following a provided checklist

• Stock inventory and supplies appropriately and notify manager when inventory is low

• Maintain a clean bar area and comply with all sanitation regulations

• Answer, report and follow shift leader or manager on or off duty

• Comply with all safety standards and protocols

• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

• Assist back of the house workers when they need it

• Assist shift leaders or managers with any necessary tasks, even if those tasks are not barista or front of the house related
