Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or a strong passion for coffee culture is required
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast is a plus
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods smoothly
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in the food industry or retail math is advantageous

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
