Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Shift 4 POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure correct transactions
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, addressing inquiries, and ensuring their needs are met promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including assembling sandwiches, snacks, or baked goods as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers quickly while maintaining quality standards

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a café or food service environment is highly preferred
• Familiarity with coffee brewing techniques and beverage customization
• Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
• Ability to perform serving duties efficiently while managing multiple tasks simultaneously
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
