Barista

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting delicious beverages and providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced cafe environment.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Operate espresso machines and other equipment to make quality drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Take customer orders accurately and handle transactions through POS systems
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist in food preparation and ensure food safety standards are met
- Uphold high standards of quality control for all beverages served

Skills:
- Proficiency in operating POS systems
- Strong basic math skills for measurements and transactions
- Knowledge of food safety practices in a cafe setting
- Willingness to learn and help with various tasks in a cafe environment
- Understanding of retail math concepts for inventory management
- Experience with cash handling procedures
- Exceptional customer service skills to create a welcoming atmosphere
- Ability to drive sales through suggestive selling techniques
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques in the food industry
