Barista

Still Life Coffee & Botanicals is a coffee shop / house plant and floral shop in Durango, Colorado. At Still Life we believe in the magic of details. From the time a customer walks in the door to the moment they leave we are responsible for their experience. This includes everything from the first person they talk to, to the music playing, to the cleanliness of the bathrooms, every detail is part of the experience, and our goal is to make customers feel taken care of in every way we can. We will offer a beautiful menu of coffees and teas, an artfully curated collection of house plants, cut flowers, and other retail items.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers
• Take orders, prepare, and serve beverages and baked goods
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Maintain a clean and inviting environment for customers and staff
• Be open to learning about coffee, tea, and house plants
• Stock and inventory retail goods
• Be able to work early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
• Support coworkers

Requirements

· High school diploma or GED

· At least one year of work in customer service

· Must have a valid driver’s license

· Must be able to lift and move items up to 30lbs

· Job requires long hours on your feet and repeated motions with hands: tamping, pulling shots, steaming milk, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $20.00 per hour
