What You'll Do

As a Barista at Suárez Bakery & Barra, your role will be all about serving pastries, making espresso-based coffee drinks, assisting customers, and keeping our space welcoming and organized. Here’s a snapshot of your key responsibilities: - Prepare espresso-based coffee drinks with care and consistency. - Take customer orders accurately and efficiently. - Operate the POS system and process transactions with ease. - Assist customers with bakery, coffee, and hot food menu selections. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and front counter. - Restock service items like cups, syrups, pastries, and more as needed. - Complete opening, closing, and side work duties. - Follow food safety, sanitation, and company standards. - Collaborate with the front-of-house and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations.

What We're Looking For

We’re searching for someone who is outgoing, dependable, and thrives under pressure while maintaining a warm and professional demeanor. Here’s what makes an ideal candidate: - Experience: 1+ year of barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred. Familiarity with espresso machines is a bonus - Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy environment. - Personal Qualities: Friendly, dependable, and welcoming. - Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 25–40 lbs, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position (approximately 15–20 hours per week). Afternoon and evening availability is preferred, with weekday shifts and some weekend coverage. A flexible schedule is a plus!

Compensation & Perks
