Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation tasks, including assembling pastries, sandwiches, and light snacks according to safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling(cashiering)
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Manage cash register transactions with accuracy using basic math skills for sales, change, and receipts
• Support food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety standards are consistently met

Qualifications

• recommended experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with a strong focus on coffee preparation and serving
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling practices, and basic math for cashiering tasks
• Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Previous experience in retail math, cash handling, or café environments is a plus
