Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating a welcoming café experience for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and providing excellent customer service. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for coffee and food service.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other menu items with precision and care.
• Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately while providing friendly service.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including the preparation stations, seating areas, and equipment.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food handling safety regulations.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with their experience.
• Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations during peak hours.
• Help train new staff members on café procedures and customer service standards.

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or food service is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and operation of cash registers.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food handling safety practices.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help both customers and team members.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
