Barista

We are a 100% vegan bakery seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Barista to join our tip pool team which averages $150.00 to $300.00 per week in shared tips (dependent on shift schedule). As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee-based beverages, as well as providing excellent customer service. Duties:

- Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee-based beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more

- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

- Operate the register and handle customer payments accurately

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area

- Ensure that all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained

- Assist with food preparation and handling as needed

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving any issues or concerns

Experience:

-2 years of Barista experience required

- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and espresso machine operation is a plus

- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems for order processing

- Strong sales skills to upsell products and promote new offerings

- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently

- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper hygiene practices
