Barista

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders and handling transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Assist in food preparation and handling as needed
- Operate the Aloha POS system for order processing
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Contribute to a positive team environment

Experience:

- Previous experience in a barista role or similar position preferred
- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso machines
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Experience in cash handling within a food service or retail environment
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume setting
- Basic understanding of food safety practices and regulations
