Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for coffee and a commitment to providing exceptional service in a fast-paced café environment. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
• Engage with customers to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a positive experience.
• Operate the Aloha POS system efficiently for order processing and payment transactions.
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including workstations, equipment, and dining areas.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with stock management as needed.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to retail math principles.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
• Familiarity with clover POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques and products.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.59 per hour
