Barista

Public Provisions believes in great coffee and impeccable service. We are a cafe where guests come for delicious coffee, high quality food, and friendly faces. We are looking for a reliable and kind Barista & Cashier to join our team and be part of a welcoming experience for every customer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to...

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service at the register and counter.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
• Prepare and serve espresso drinks, brewed coffee, teas, and specialty beverages to standard.
• Handle cash, credit, and mobile transactions with accuracy and integrity.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including coffee station, pastry case, and register area.
• Restock supplies as needed (cups, lids, syrups, etc.).

Qualifications

• Previous barista, customer service & cashier experience required
• Strong communication and people skills. Friendly and approachable.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while staying organized & calm.
• Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system.
• Reliable, punctual ( weekends / early mornings)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
