Barista

Job Summary: We are seeking an energetic and motivated Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion and commitment to providing outstanding customer service, and the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to company standards.

- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions and making recommendations for baked goods/beverage options.

- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.

- Keep café area clean and organized at all times, including tables, counters and equipment.

- Restock supplies and inform management of any inventory needs.

- Handle cash, credit card and mobile payments accurately.

- Assist with opening and closing duties as needed.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Barista or similar customer service focused role.

- Knowledge of coffee and tea brewing techniques.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.

- Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.

- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, weekends and holidays.

- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30lbs.

Pay: $16.50 - $19.00 per hour
