Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing their needs promptly
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food handling and preparation tasks
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cash register balancing and basic math calculations
• Assist in food preparation and serving food items while adhering to food safety regulations
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies, monitoring product freshness, and tracking sales data

Requirements

• Proven experience as a barista or (non experience) in a food service role within the food industry
• Familiarity with POS systems preferred
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality standards
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper serving techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and sales transactions
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Previous experience in coffee preparation or café operations is a plus
