Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders accurately, and provide friendly, attentive service throughout their visit
• Operate POS systems such as Square to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness of the cafe area, including food prep stations, seating areas, and equipment in compliance with food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions confidently, ensuring proper cash handling and cashiering procedures are followed
• Assist with food handling and basic food preparation tasks to support quality service delivery
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role within a café or retail environment
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization options
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Square for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and serving standards
• Experience with food preparation, serving, and café operations is highly desirable
