Barista

• Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to craft and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffees and teas.

Your primary objective will be to deliver an exceptional drinking experience to all customers.

As a Barista, your responsibilities will include

Key Duties:

• Warmly welcome customers upon their arrival
• Distribute drink menus to customers and clarify any inquiries about ingredients
• Accurately take orders, paying close attention to specifics such as coffee blends, dairy preferences, and sugar levels
• Prepare beverages according to specified recipes
• Serve beverages and accompanying food items, such as cookies, pastries, and muffins,sandwiches
• Manage payments, including cash transactions and credit card processing
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area and cafe
• Ensure an adequate supply of clean mugs and plates
• Monitor the functionality of brewing equipment and promptly report any maintenance requirements
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines
• Convey customer feedback to supervisors and suggest potential new menu additions

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Prior experience working as a Barista
• Proficiency operating brewing equipment
• Familiarity with sanitation protocols
• Ability to adapt to varying work schedules
• Fundamental understanding of basic math principles
• Exceptional verbal communication skills
• High school diploma required; relevant training advantageous
