Barista

Job Summary
Come work with us at Dock Square Coffee House, right in the heart of Kennebunkport, Me! We are looking for a full-time barista to join our team now through December. This is a fast paced, customer focused role in a busy costal town.

Barista experience is preferred, along with strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and a positive, team oriented attitude. You'll be making quality drinks, connecting with customers, and helping keep service running smoothly during our busiest season.

Perks include free coffee (obviously!) and great tips on top of hourly pay.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty creations with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly recommendations to enhance their experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring health and safety standards are met at all times
• Operate coffee brewing equipment efficiently while adhering to quality standards
• Restock supplies regularly to ensure smooth daily operations and minimize delays
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and process payments swiftly
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless flow during busy periods and support each other in achieving service excellence

Skills

• Barista experience required
• Strong communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
