Job Title: Barista Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour + Tips

About Us: Cyber City Cafe is officially open and we are growing! We are an independent, cyberpunk-themed coffee shop in San Antonio. We are currently looking to bring on our 3rd employee to round out our core team. We’ve got a great space, top-tier equipment, and an amazing local community. We don't do corporate red tape, but we do care deeply about the quality of our drinks and the cleanliness of our space.

The Job (Part-Time / ~20 hrs a week): You will be taking ownership of the bar and manning the espresso station during our highest volume days. During peak hours and heavy weekend rushes, you will have direct support from the owner stepping in to expedite and run the register so you aren't overwhelmed. You'll be working in a tight-knit, supportive three-person team environment.

What We Need From You:

• Availability (The Most Important Part): This is a part-time role (approximately 20 hours a week). Saturday and Sunday availability is strictly required. Our weekends are when we host our tabletop campaigns and see our biggest rushes. You will also pick up 1 or 2 weekday shifts to round out your hours.
• Personality Over Experience: Previous coffee experience is a plus, but it is not required. We can teach you how to dial in the grinder, pull perfect shots, and pour latte art. What we cannot teach is a proactive personality and a baseline level of care. We are hiring for character first.
• Attention to Detail & Initiative: This is the absolute core of the job. You must take pride in a spotless workspace. You naturally understand that downtime is prep time—wiping down steam wands, rinsing containers, and restocking cups proactively. We need someone who genuinely wants to keep the station looking great and ready for the next wave of customers.
• Pace & Vibe: You can keep a cool head when a rush hits and communicate well with the team. No egos, just good energy and a willingness to learn.
