Barista

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, smoothies, and food items according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Operate cash registers and POS systems accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items and ingredients to assist customers effectively.
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with food safety and health regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure fast, friendly service.
• Engage customers with a positive, upbeat attitude and address any questions or concerns.
• Monitor and restock inventory of coffee beans, supplies, and food items as needed.
• Follow all cash handling procedures and company policies.
• Take initiative to learn and demonstrate knowledge of coffee culture and service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Assist with social media and advertising.

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous barista or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Understanding of coffee brewing techniques and safe food handling practices is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Communicate effectively with management.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and support your teammates.
• Punctuality and reliability are essential. On time, every time.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Build strong relationships with customers.
• Must be available weekdays and weekends.
