Barista

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for matcha and coffee and providing exceptional customer service.

20-40 hours per week

Part-time and full-time available

*Wage including tips ranges $17-$29 an hour*

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following company recipes
- Operate cash registers and handle customer payments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area
- Assist customers with menu selection and provide recommendations
- Uphold food safety standards and ensure quality control of products
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service

Experience:
- Prior experience as a Barista or in a similar role preferred
- Familiarity with Square POS or similar Point of Sale systems
- Knowledge of basic math for cash handling and transactions
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Understanding of coffee brewing techniques and beverage preparation
- Experience with cash handling, including operating a cash register
