Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with attention to detail using POS systems
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during beverage preparation and serving
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Requirements

• Prior barista experience or background in coffee service is not required
• Familiarity with Square POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle cash handling and basic math accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling regulations within the food industry
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light loads, and work flexible hours as needed
