Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Manage cash handling, cashiering duties, and basic math calculations for sales transactions
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries professionally
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as assembling light snacks or baked goods as needed

Requirements

• Previous barista experience in specialty coffee industry background is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently while maintaining quality service
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math, and sales calculations
• Experience in food service or retail environments is advantageous
• Reliable team player with good communication skills and a professional appearance
