Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Beverage Crafting

• Greet customers with warmth and professionalism
• Take orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including coffee, espresso drinks, teas, smoothies, and specialty creations
• Assist customers with menu knowledge and recommendations
• Ensure all beverages meet Scooter’s quality and presentation standards

Store Operations

• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
• Operate the POS system accurately
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy and basic retail math skills
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized café environment
• Follow all food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures
• Assist with food preparation and timely delivery of orders
• Stock and replenish inventory including food, beverages, and utensils
• Receive, unload, and distribute deliveries
• Communicate inventory shortages or operational needs to leadership
• Support team members and contribute to a positive, collaborative work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Previous barista or coffee experience preferred, but not required
• Strong passion for coffee and customer service
• Familiarity with POS systems
• Excellent time management skills, especially during busy periods
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive, professional attitude
