Barista

A barista prepares and serves high-quality coffee, tea, and specialty beverages while delivering excellent customer service. Key responsibilities include operating espresso machines, grinding coffee beans, preparing food items, maintaining a clean, sanitary workspace, and managing cash transactions, often in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Beverage Preparation: Craft espresso-based drinks (lattes, cappuccinos), pour-overs, and cold brews, following specific recipes and techniques.
• Customer Service: Greet customers, answer menu questions, make recommendations, and build rapport to ensure a positive experience.
• Equipment Operation & Maintenance:

Operate, clean, and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, troubleshooting when necessary.

• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean workspace, including sanitizing counters, cleaning equipment, sweeping, and adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Stocking & Inventory: Replenish inventory, including cups, lids, coffee beans, and pastry case items.
• Cash Handling: Process payments using POS systems accurately.
