Barista

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, counters, and storage spaces.
• Engage with customers in a friendly, approachable manner to ensure they feel welcomed and valued.
• Handle cash register operations accurately and efficiently, including taking orders and processing payments.
• Restock supplies as needed to keep the station well-equipped throughout shifts.
• Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for colleagues and guests.
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with order assembly and customer service.

Skills

• Previous experience as a barista or in customer service is helpful but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills to connect with diverse customers and team members.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, drink recipes, or barista equipment is a plus but not mandatory.
• Positive attitude with a focus on delivering excellent customer experiences.
