Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and serving areas
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and cash handling procedures responsibly
• Assist in food handling, basic food preparation, and café operations to ensure smooth service flow
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food service industry with strong coffee knowledge
• Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced café or retail environment
