Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing excellent service to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy using retail math skills and basic math proficiency
• Assist in food preparation and serving food items according to health standards and company guidelines
• Support team members during busy periods by managing time effectively and multitasking seamlessly

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge preferred; passion for coffee is a plus!
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and enthusiastically
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and café operations
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in the food industry or retail math is advantageous but not required
