Zero Zero Two Pickleball Café — Fort Collins, CO

We’re looking for a reliable, upbeat, and creative barista/café team member to help build the café side of a growing pickleball and social club.

This is a flexible-hours part-time position with room to grow (20-30 hrs/week). The right person will not just be “making coffee” — they’ll help shape the guest experience, test new drink ideas, give input on menu items, and be part of a startup-style environment where good ideas can actually become real.

About the Role

You’ll work directly with café management to serve coffee, espresso drinks, smoothies, grab-and-go food, snacks, and other café items for members, guests, players, and event attendees. Since the café is part of a larger sports and social space, the pace and energy will vary throughout the day — from morning coffee rushes to afternoon snacks to evening events.

We’re looking for someone who is dependable, coachable, personable, and interested in helping create something better over time.

Responsibilities

Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, smoothies, teas, and other café beverages.

Serve guests with a friendly, professional, and relaxed attitude.

Handle basic food prep, grab-and-go items, and light kitchen/café tasks.

Maintain cleanliness and organization behind the counter.

Restock supplies and communicate when items are running low.

Operate the POS system accurately.

Help test and improve new drinks, snacks, and café offerings.

Support events, tournaments, and busy club periods as needed.

Work with management to improve service flow, presentation, and guest experience.

What We’re Looking For

Previous barista, café, restaurant, or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

A positive attitude and ability to interact comfortably with guests.

Reliability — showing up on time matters.

Willingness to learn espresso, smoothie, and café systems.

Ability to work independently during slower periods and move quickly during rushes.

Clean, organized work habits.

Interest in food, coffee, wellness drinks, or creative menu development is a plus.

Comfortable in a casual, active, community-focused environment.

Competitive compensation. Hourly pay based on experience. Tips and growth opportunities are available depending on role structure and café performance.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
