Barista

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our vibrant café team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, crafting high-quality coffee beverages, and maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests. Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and consistency.
• Operate Square POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and safety standards.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for sales transactions.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Assist in food preparation and serving food items as needed, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality.
• Support team members in daily operations to create a positive work environment.

Experience

• Previous Barista experience or background in food service or the food industry is preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers.
• Knowledge of food safety, food handling, and basic retail math for cash handling and sales calculations.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
