Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly service to enhance their experience
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS for order processing, payments, and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by following proper food handling and preparation procedures
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service and smooth café operations
• Restock supplies, monitor inventory levels, and assist with food preparation when needed
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic retail math calculations

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong coffee knowledge is preferred; passion for coffee is a plus!
• Familiarity with POS systems like Toast POS is advantageous
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations
• Experience in food service or retail environments within the food industry is beneficial
• Reliable team player with a positive attitude eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced setting

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
