Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of boba/coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage warmly with customers, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations to ensure correct transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation and service areas
• Handle food handling responsibilities including food safety protocols and proper food preparation techniques
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
• Assist in maintaining a tidy, organized café environment that promotes excellent customer experiences

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or strong boba/coffee experience is preferred, along with a passion for the food industry
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods efficiently
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and serving best practices
• Ability to perform retail math including cash handling, sales calculations, and basic math skills
• Experience in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or retail math is advantageous
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment
