Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for sales transactions, cash handling, and cashiering duties
• Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods while maintaining quality standards
• Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, dining spaces, and equipment
• Follow food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure health standards are met

Experience

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong skills in sales, serving, and cash handling to support efficient transactions
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods
• Knowledge of basic math for retail math calculations and cash register operations
• Demonstrated commitment to customer service excellence in a café or retail environment
• Understanding of food safety practices and proper food preparation techniques
