Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including processing payments and managing cash registers.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, syrups, pastries, and other café supplies.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment and ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Promote café products through upselling techniques while maintaining knowledge of menu items and seasonal offerings.
• Participate in ongoing training to enhance skills in coffee preparation and customer engagement.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 months to a year in a cafe is a must!
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for cash handling and inventory management is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• A genuine passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and beverage preparation techniques.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
