Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle cash register operations using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring accurate cash handling and transactions
• Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and offering product recommendations to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety for all customers
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently without compromising quality
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately using retail math skills and basic math proficiency
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or food preparation is desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Pay: $20.00 per hour
