Duties

• Engage with customers, providing personalized service to enhance their café experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures
• Maintain the pastry case and display as needed
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and retail math calculations
• Assist in food packaging and preparation and serving of baked goods as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista preferred or in a similar food service role within the food industry
• Strong knowledge of POS systems for seamless transactions
• Excellent customer service and relationship building skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests
• Effective time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and proper food preparation techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining attention to detail in all duties

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
