Have a passion for coffee? The Serve Pickleball + Kitchen is looking for an amazing Barista to add to our growing team! No two days are alike at The Serve…there is always something happening! Our Café is located right by the action of our indoor pickleball courts and Topgolf Swing Suite bays, and the action never stops at The Serve. You’ll be on deck to create latte perfection, blend up an after-court smoothie, or pour an afternoon tea, all while being a positive and welcoming face for our guests. We expect some flexibility regarding your job provided it does not fall outside of what’s expected from our Food & Beverage Team. As a Barista in our Café, you may also be asked to help in other areas of The Serve, such as setting up for an event, or pitching in to buss tables at the Bar. The Serve offers paths for advancement in all departments, and you’ll have opportunities to advance your F&B and customer service skills while you grow with us.

Daily Expectations:

• Greet and engage with customers
• Educate customers on menu items and answer any questions
• Become familiar with regular customers and their orders
• Make suggestions and promote special offerings
• Take orders with attention to detail and accuracy
• Take payments for orders using the POS (Toast)
• Prepare and serve beverages according to established guidelines
• Serve prepared foods like muffins, bagels, cookies, etc.
• Take any to-go orders for Restaurant accurately in POS
• Package and prepare any to-go orders for pickup
• Handle payment for to-go orders at time of pickup
• Keep Café area and equipment clean and organized
• Buss tables in Café as needed
• Maintain adequate supply of mugs, plates, napkins, etc.
• Complete daily tasks as assigned

Skill Expectations:

• Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
• Working knowledge of commercial coffee equipment
• Ability to make standard espresso drinks and coffee
• Ability to brew and craft tea-based drinks (ie. London Fog, Chai Latte, Match Latte)
• Skilled at preparing and making smoothies
• Ability to be flexible regarding job duties (we may ask you to pitch in and help bus tables in the restaurant, or help set up for an onsite event)
• Latte art skills are a plus but not required
