Barista

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for coffee and customer service, ensuring that every guest has a delightful experience. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items while maintaining a clean and inviting café environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and operating the POS system.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and equipment.
• Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the highest quality of products served.
• Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
• Promote sales through effective communication of menu items and specials to customers.

Skills

• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
• Experience in cash handling and familiarity with POS systems.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Sales skills to effectively promote menu items and enhance customer experience.
• Experience in food preparation within a café or retail environment is preferred but not required.
