Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve specialty coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and signature drinks to brand standards
- Provide exceptional guest service with professionalism, attention to detail, and product knowledge
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, brewing equipment, and POS systems efficiently
- Maintain consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and taste
- Engage with guests confidently and make tailored recommendations
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the café, bar station, seating areas, and equipment
- Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management and replenishment
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams to maintain smooth operations
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista in a specialty or premium café preferred
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and latte art
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining service quality
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Basic cash handling and POS experience preferred
- Passion for hospitality and customer experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty coffee certification or formal barista training
- Experience in luxury hospitality or high-end café concepts
- Knowledge of alternative brewing methods
