Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages, such as lattes, cappuccinos, espresso shots, and iced coffees

Provide excellent customer service, including greeting customers, taking orders, and making recommendations

Operate and maintain coffee equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers, ensuring they are in good working condition

Follow established recipes and guidelines to ensure consistent product quality

Manage and maintain inventory of coffee and other supplies, including milk, syrups, and cups
-
Keep the coffee shop clean and organized, including wiping down counters, tables, and equipment, and sweeping and mopping floors

Assist with opening and closing duties, such as setting up and cleaning the shop, and securing the premises

Handle cash and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales

Adhere to health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage, and maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment

Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Prior experience in a coffee shop or food service environment preferred

Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers

Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and equipment preferred

Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Food handlers permit or willingness to obtain one
