Barista

The Bard's Coffee, located in historic downtown Perrysburg, has an immediate opening on our team. If you are an independent worker who wants to contribute to a locally owned and focussed coffee shop The Bard's may be right for you. The Barista position involves food service, so the ability to work independently and accurately is a must. Some experience is welcome but not required. Special consideration will be given to those who have a Level 1 or Level 2 Food Safe Certification.

Baristas have a variety of customer service tasks, including making coffee, teas, espresso drinks, and sodas. Some minor baking is required. Baristas also make a small variety of made to order bagel sandwiches.

The Barista job is also responsible for the cash register along with shop cleanliness. Our pay is competitive and we share tips across our team. If you like coffee, coffee houses, entrepreneurship and people in general, please submit a resume along with 3 references by email.

Job openings require weekends. Routine shifts are always between the hours of 6:30 AM and 5:30 PM. Pay scale is based on average tips.
