Our team is passionate about delivering memorable experiences, and we're currently looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Barista/Server to join our vibrant team.

Position Overview:
As a Barista/Server at Viva Coffee, you'll be the face of our business, responsible for crafting high-quality beverages and providing outstanding customer service. This role requires a blend of barista skills and serving experience to ensure each guest receives a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

General Responsibilities:

  • Beverage Preparation: Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to our recipes and customer preferences. Operate espresso machines, blenders, and other coffee equipment efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and provide recommendations on menu items. Address any questions or concerns they may have, ensuring a positive and friendly interaction.
  • Order Fulfillment: Accurately prepare and deliver food and beverage orders to customers, ensuring timely and correct service.
  • Cash Handling: Process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handle cash and credit card payments, and issue receipts.
  • Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter, beverage station, dining area, and other workspaces. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a sanitary environment.
  • Restocking: Monitor inventory levels of coffee, tea, and other supplies, and restock as needed. Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other baristas, servers, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and effective communication during busy periods.
  • Upselling: Promote and upsell additional items, such as pastries, sandwiches, and specialty beverages, to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
