Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, and light snacks in accordance with food safety standards
• Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Manage cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations for sales and change
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and seating areas
• Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations to ensure a safe environment for staff and customers

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to perform food handling duties safely and responsibly in accordance with food safety standards
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Experience in food preparation or food industry roles is a plus
• Reliable team player with good communication skills and a positive work ethic
