Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, attentive service
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS and Square POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling and food safety practices
• Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and basic math calculations
• Assist in food preparation and food service tasks to support overall café operations
• Uphold food safety standards by following proper procedures for food handling, storage, and sanitation

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food industry with strong coffee knowledge and serving skills
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS and Square POS for smooth transactions
• Excellent customer service abilities with a friendly, energetic approach
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts efficiently
• Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation, and food handling procedures
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and assist customers confidently
