Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality
• Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to support seasonal offerings and special events
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety regulations
• Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination
• Support food presentation and plating to enhance visual appeal for guests
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy hours
• Participate in catering events and special functions as needed, providing excellent food service and presentation

Skills

• Proven experience in dietary department or dietary aide roles is highly desirable
• Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly within a restaurant or food industry setting
• Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to plan menus, manage time efficiently, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with catering services and large-scale meal preparation is a plus
• Effective communication skills for serving guests and collaborating with team members
