Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with attention to quality and presentation.
• Operate TOAST POS system efficiently for orders, payments, and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to customers, answering questions about menu items and dietary options.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while managing sales and upselling products to enhance customer experience.
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures during beverage preparation and serving.
• Support food preparation tasks when needed, including basic food handling and serving snacks or light meals.

Requirements

• at least 2 years of previous barista experience is mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
• Familiarity with TOAST POS systems
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently without compromising service quality.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
