Barista

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages and food items while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in our café. Your role will involve collaborating with team members to deliver outstanding customer service and maintaining the highest standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Pay Structure: Base Pay +Tips (pooled)

Cash tips typically $1/hr

Cc tips range from $9 -$19/hr

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
• Assist in food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared in accordance with food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using the POS system, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and dining spaces.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food and beverage supplies, assisting with restocking as needed.

• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and adherence to food safety regulations.

• Experience in food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems is advantageous.
