Barista

Responsibilities:

• Preparing and serving hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees and teas
• Operating coffee equipment, including espresso machines, grinders and brewers
• Taking orders, including offering menu recommendations and noting dietary restrictions and customizations
• Building relationships with customers and promoting and recommending menu options to customers
• Restocking supplies, such as cups, lids, coffee beans, syrups
• Making drinks and bulk beverages according to company recipes and standards
• Keeping the work environment and service area clean, sanitary and organized
• Cleaning countertops and behind the counter, including the coffee grinders, decanters or milk frothers
• Working the point-of-sale (POS) system to complete transactions
• Assisting with opening and closing duties, including setup, cleaning and inventory tasks

Qualifications:

• Experience is a must
• Must be friendly and outgoing
• Must be a team player, willing to help out
• Must be responsible, self-motivated and disciplined
• Must be able to maintain a clean & organized work area, follow and complete a daily tasks list

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
