Barista

Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team at our new location in Itasca, IL. Training will occur at our flagship store in Villa Park, to prepare for opening of the Itasca store in late fall, 2026. As a Barista, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality coffee and food items. You will play a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service and attention to detail. In addition to the starting hourly pay, tips typically range from $7.00-$9.00 per hour, and paychecks are paid out weekly. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders.
- Operate the POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
- Follow food safety and handling procedures to ensure the highest quality of products.
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Experience
- Previous barista experience is preferred.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures is beneficial.

-Weekend availability is required.
